HOSTE_ThA color of this variety is soft, light canary-yellow, deepening in the center to pure golden- yellow, beautifully flushed with pale amber. Edge and reverse of petals creamy white. San Jose, California, January 23, 1916. Dear Sirs:—I received the Rose plants I ordered of you. They are certainly fine plants, the best 1' ever saw. I ordered one-year- old plants, and I think the ones you sent me must be two-year-old. Thanks ever so much for sending- me such fine plants. I have been buying- Roses of you now for five or six! years and I have quit dealing with other firms. Tours truly. ARTHUR S.
