Arrival of Queen Henrietta Maria at the Tower of London, c1625 (c1638(?)). The youngest daughter of Henry IV of France and Marie de' Medici, Henrietta Maria de Bourbon (1609-1669) married King Charles I of England in 1625. The illustration shows beacons lit on tthe Tower of London and nearby church towers to commemorate her arrival in London.
