Staff Sergeant Kathryn Pena, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), takes practice swings off the tee July 23 at Fort Campbell. Tryouts started July 22 and will continue through Aug. 2 when coaching staff makes the final cut. This is the first time Fort Campbell has hosted the Armed Forces Women’s Softball Championship. The tournament takes place Aug. 9-14 at the South Sports Complex.
