Headland, Hartlepool, UK. 13th May, 2014. Jogger enjoying a glorious sunrise near Steetley pier as high pressure builds across much of the UK. Steetley pier was used to pump water to the now demolished Steetley Magnesite works on The Headland at Hartlepool. A section of the pier was removed to prevent access following an accident when an angler was seriously injured after falling into a pumping tank at the end of the pier.
