Covered Bridge

The Bridgeton Covered Bridge, rebuilt in 2006 after being destroyed by an arsonist, is 245 feet long. The bridge is the most famous of Parke, County's many covered bridges. It was originally built in 1868 and crosses Big Raccoon Creek. Now visitors can walk through it but cars are not allowed.
