NORFOLK, Va. (July 22, 2017) -- President Donald J. Trump passes through rainbow sideboys prior to USS Gerald R. Ford’s (CVN 78) commissioning ceremony at Naval Station Norfolk. Ford is the lead ship of the Ford-class aircraft carriers, and the first new aircraft carrier design in 40 years.
