Members of the Back Off Campaign present a 118,000 strong petition to Downing Street, calling for the establishment of buffer zones around abortion clinics so that those attending are not subjected to anti-abortion harassment by pro-life activists. Many women attending the clinics are humiliated and stressed by the anti-abortion campaigners whose tactics include showing pictures of aborted foetuses.
