This is a collection of thousands of early photographs taken from the late 1800s to the mid-1900s in Eastern Arizona usually in the town of St. Johns, Apache County by Margaret Godfrey Jarvis Overson or her father, Charles Godfrey DeFriez Jarvis. They were produced from negatives, glass negatives or film prints. Most of these photos show people who cannot now be identified. Other photos show scenes from the late 1800s to the mid-1900s.
