The Maru, a general cargo ship, is slated to deliver the sonar to Fleet Activities Yokosuka, Japan. MCAS Iwakuni is the only Marine Corps installation with a co-located airport and seaport, providing strategic capabilities to forces in the Indo-Asia Pacific region.
