Safety rules at Scottish Highland Games Tomintoul, Scotland, UK. 20th July, 2013. Heavy throwing events at the annual Tomintoul Highland games and gathering held on the 3rd Saturday in July, at the showground in the village. The Cairngorms National Park is home to some of the best and most famous Highland Games in Scotland and has a long tradition and history where Clans would compete against each other in sporting events.


The Tomintoul and Strathavon Highland Games 2013 being the 172nd Highland Games, on of the oldest and friendliest games in Scotland. Events include Highland Dancing, Athletics, Piping Competitions among others and the every popular Heavies.
