Wilkie, to print the Book ofMormon in the Hawaiian language, andafterwards to publish the WesternStandard. a weekly newspaper. Onthe 10th of May, 1855, in company with Apostle Charles C. Rich, he left hometogether with his associates, travelingby mule teams to San Bernardino. AtSan Pedro they took steamer and ar-rived at San Francisco in the latter partof June.
