London, UK. 27th May, 2014. . Boris Johnson, the Mayor of London joins officers of the Metropolitan Police during a road safety operation. Operation Safeway was devised to combat the spate of cyclist deaths in the Capital. The operation included officers of the Metropolitan Police Traffic Command and Safer Transport Command as well as Police Community Support Officers being stationed at key junctions throughout the city during rush hours.
