Residents from Anita Street, Ancoats hang flags around their door as they take part during the marks the 75th anniversary of the end of World War 2 where Britain and its allies defeated Nazi Germany. Due to COVID-19 this year’s celebrations had to adhere to social distancing measures implemented to protect the public after deaths within the county rose to above 30000.
