Maori carved figures at the PrinceÕs Gate Archway leading into QueenÕs Drive to the Government Gardens in Rotorua, a town on the shore of lake Rotorua on New Zealand's North Island, in the Bay of Plenty region. The archway was constructed in honour of King George V and Queen Mary during their visit to New Zealand in 1901.
