The promotion of a fine flower sliow in Section D, In connection with the Pageant of Proirress, at the Municipal Pier, Chicag'o, July 30-August 14, is in full swing. The flower show itself, which will be in the center of this section, promises to be something very unusual and possibly the finest ever produced at this time of the year. A. Telephone, Central 3777, because of his extensive experience along these lines has been chosen to lay out the dis- play, leaving sufiicient room to allow for contributions to the several con- tests described below. Special attention of the Florists' Telegraph Delivery Association mem- bers is called to the fact that orders will be taken for flowers by telegraph at the F. T. D. booths. Telegrams will be signed "Pageant of Progress" and bills should be sent to Florists' Pageant of Progress Committee, Room 511, 225 North Michigan avenue, Chi- cago. A very elaborate exhibit is being arranged by Mrs. Stewart, man- ager of the Bohannon Floral Co. The fixtures such as a large ice box, nine feet high with a cut glass sign across the top, reading "Say I
