Salford, Quays UK 4th July 2015 Thousands take part in the Great Manchester Swim at Salford Quays. Among the celebrities is former Yorkshire and England cricketer, Matthew Hoggard, who is raising money for the charity, Cricket Without Boundaries. In its 10 years existence CWB had set up 50 projects in 9 countries, coached over 130,000 children and trained over 300 coaches. The GMS is one of 5 events in the UK and is Europe's biggest open water swimming series with an expected 20,000 participants.
