Offenham, Evesham, January 3rd 2024 - A ballsy BMW driver tried and failed to drive through flood water despite another vehicle already abandoned on the same stretch. The elderly driver revved his engine as he drove through however his speed was too great and water got into his engine. The vehicle eventually got going again, but it spluttered to another stop just yards from dry land. A road worker then arrived and placed a 'Road Closed' sign in front of his vehicle as a final insult. It happened next to Offenham caravan park which is near Evesham in Worcestershire where the River Avon has burs
