The object is toget all the buds started and all to flower, or the fine effect ofthe trained specimen is lost. After two or three weeks thetemperature may be raised to 50°. Later, when the budsare formed, to 55°, and finally to 60°. It should be remebered that a little extra heat may beapplied to hurry them along if late, or they may be slightlyretarded if too early. The ones grown in moderate heatwill be the best and will keep the longest. No forcing shouldbe attempted until after the buds are formed. RAMBLER ROSES 131.
