In 1817, he was elected supervisor of Ripley, fromwhich time he held that office, by reelections, until 1825, inclusive, except,perhaps, the year 1818, the records of which are not at hand. In 1827, hewas again elected, making, in all, a service of 10 or 11 years. He had twochildren: i. Stephen^ [see sketch.] 2.
