On thissite he commenced building a church105x50 feet including three rooms in the 340 HISTORY OF THE DIOCESE OF rear. The building was not completeduntil June 1884 although, for want ofother accommodation, services were heldin it as soon as it was enclosed. In 1886Father Faust added three more rooms tohis living apartments and at the end ofSeptember when he was changed to Calu-met, there was no indebtedness on theproperty which, by the purchase of fiveadditional lots consisted, besides thebuildings, of the entire block, number 15,Kimberlys addition to Iron taut from December 20, 1889 to August 7, 1890.
