It is also a splendid flower for cutting, as it carries well and stands a long time in water, opening out morning after morning, to the surprise and delight of the possessor. They succeed everywhere, and are worthy of a place in any garden. Clusii. Rich yellow; 2} to 3 inches across. Columnar. Very large, bright yellow. Excelsum.
