The Coast Guard will enforce a temporary safety zone approximately miles northwest of the Haleiwa small boat harbor, Oahu, beginning Jan. 20, 2016, and running through Feb. 10, 2016. Under the Code of Federal Regulations 33 CFR , the temporary law prohibits any unauthorized person or vessel from entering or remaining in this safety zone. Any person entering the safety zone without the permission of the COTP is subject to a penalty of not more than $40,000 for each violation or a criminal penalty resulting in imprisonment of not more than 25 years and a fine of not more than $250
