Mr. Marsh was baptized and joined friendship BaptistChurch on March 29, 1931 where he served as an activemember for sixty-eight years. He was later ordained as a dea-con on July 19, 1947 and served in that capacity for fifty-twoyears. Hart, and a host of senior church members. South Beaver Baptist Church joined the Association in 1 S*>I under the leatfership of Pastor l).\\. Thompson with twenty-two charter members. Unfortu-nately, a listing of the charter members was not available. Since a church must bjestablished for one year before joining the Association, we know that the church |was established in 1890.
