Gibraltar. 21st September, 2015. Minister for Education Gilbert Licudi today officially inuagurated the University of Gibraltar, alongside the Chief Minister of Gibraltar Fabian Picardo. The University located at Europa Point has seen parts of the old fortifications in the area converted into a modern educational establishment which has been described as the future of Gibraltar, making Gibraltar "a University city at last".
