The interior of the Rivierzinsplaats in Paasloo. The depot with the rolled paintings 'Battle at Waterloo', from Pieneman, and Jordaens 'glorification by Frederik Hendrik' from the Oranjezaal van Huis ten Bosch. From the end of 1941 the shelters had to be vacated into the dunes. To offer the art objects a house, the above-ground concrete bunker was built at Paasloo. This started in May 1942, the bunker was ready in September. The walls are m thick and covered with bricks. 7000 cubic meters of concrete was used in construction.
