Distracting me from the captive critters at ZOOMAT in Tuxtla, Mexico was this spider, suspended in the middle of the path. Amazed that a visitor hadn’t walked into her and her egg sack sooner, I watched and photographed as she repositioned her silk lines to protect her progeny from getting blown away in the wind.
