Arenes de Lutece, Roman amphitheatre in the Latin Quarter of Paris.
The arena was constructed in the 1st century AD, and could seat 15,000 people. Buried during the middle ages, the arena was discovered in the 19th century and was subsequently excavated and preserved as a public park.
