Drill instructors with Kilo Company, 3rd Recruit Training Battalion, demonstrate a physical training event at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, Jan. 22. Before allowing the recruits to begin the event, drill instructors demonstrated the proper techniques needed to successfully endure it. Annually, more than 17,000 males recruited from the Western Recruiting Region are trained at MCRD San Diego. Kilo Company is scheduled to graduate March 16.
