Ovary. — One-celled; style two-cleft: seeds Nemophila. Nem6-phila insignis Nemophila is a pretty, compact little herb, excellent for borders and possessed of a charming name, Lover-of-the-grove. In- signis and Nemophila Menzibsii, both California plants, are the two in common cultivation and both have varied into several garden forms. 371.
