Cockerel weathervane on West tower. Church of Saint James, Temple Sowerby, Cumbria, England, United Kingdom, Europe.
The church was built in 1754, enlarged by an aisle in 1770 but the present two equal aisles with lancet windows look like 1877, corresponding to a datestone over the South aisle. The West tower is dated 1807-8.
