The Fig. 23âView of Screen Shaker Rod screen is carried on slides under shovel plate and is kept inmotion, when stoker is running, by means of a screen shakerrod attached by pivot pin connection to bell crank on elevatorhopper. The bell crank is operated by an eccentric on lowerleft hand sprocket wheel shaft in elevator hopper. The movement of the screen assists in ready passage ofcoal to screw conveyor
