A Greenlander's Joy and Pride. The natives of Greenland, even those living many miles beyond the arctic circle, have white blood of which they are very proud, and prefer to be called "Greenlanders" rather than "Eskimoes". And they love to pose for the photographer. This boy exhibits his greatest of treasures, three husky-dog pups, for the Coast Guard photographer, Everett F. Lashburn, Chief Photographer, USCG, while the Coast Guard Icebreaker, NORTHWIND, is on duty on a scientific voyage in the Arctic.
