Interpretation of angry 14th Century English rebels, made up of merchants and even members of the gentry as well as peasants.
Inspired by the Peasants' Revolt of 1381 in the east of England. The battle for North Walsham was one of the last confrontations between the King's army and the rebels, made up of not only peasants but local merchants and members of the knightly class who were objecting to the new poll tax and restrictions placed on the working class to keep them in their place.
