Brighton Station in chaos with commuters suffering cancellations and severe delays of up to 60 minutes on trains between Brighton and London due to signalling failure at Gatwick. Crowds of commuters were held on the concourse awaiting delayed departures, whilst others were prevented from entering the station due to overcrowding.
