Miss Frandsen is keeping watchful eyes on the fine stock during her brother's absence. The new iron frame houses built by Mrs. A. R. Myers are up-to-date in every respect. Basements are built be- neath the entire houses which have re- inforced concrete floors and benches. The basements contain the boilers, work rooms and space for storage. ?— Stevens, who for two years was grower for Mr. Sawvil, has started in business for himself and has completed two large houses for carnations and chrysanthemums. The new modern range of ,000 square feet of glass owned by W. A. Rule has been leased by E. O. Pratt, a vegetable specialist. — Frith is once more hustling about the plant, after his long illness. His Killarney stock equals any on the market. Mrs. J. H. Boyd of .Spring Branch Road has built a house 16x100 and opened a store at Independence. Clarence Chandler has returned from California and is pushing the planting of nursery stock. James Payne is looking for a new location to build greenhouses. Mrs. E. D. EJlsworth is out again after a week's illness. E. A. Humfeld saj's business is very satisfactory. K. C. M. Washington. S. S. Pennock. Chas. Meehan and E. Fancourt of Philadelphia.
