MORNING DRESS FOR GENTLEMEN The morning dress for gentlemen is a black frockcoat, or a black cut-away, white or black vest, grayor colored pants, a high silk (stove-pipe) hat, and ablack necktie. A black frock coat with black pantsis not considered a good combination, nor is a dresscoat and colored or light pants. The morning dress. (260) DRESS. 261 is suitable for garden calls and receptions. It is notgood taste for a gentleman to wear a dress coat, andwhite tie in day time. JEWELRY FOB GENTLEMEN. No well-bred gentleman will load himself with jew-elry. He may wear one ring, a watch chain, studsand cuff buttons. EVE mm DRESS FOR LADIES. A ladys evening dress may be as rich, elegant andattractive as she wishes to have it. Full evening dressshould be worn to parties and balls, and it may beworn to large dinners. A dress should not be cut solow in the neck as to cause remarks. Fashions are too changeable to give directions as tohow a party dress should be made. BALL DRESS. A fanciful and airy dress is most suitable for theball-room. Rich and heavily trimmed silks are forthose who do not dance. The brightest and mostdelicately tinted silks, expensive laces, an elaboratedisplay of diamonds and flowers for the hair all belongto the costume for a ball. THE FULL DINNER DRESS.
