Shortly after this, the piratical schoonerwas driven ashore near the Cape, and somuch damaged that it was found necessaryto destroy her. A new, sharp-builtschooner was in consequence provided bytheir faithful ally in Havana, called thePicciana, and dispatched to their rendez-vous.
