Judges of the ar-ticle say, however, that the real India shawlcan be detected by its having a less evenlywoven web, as also fromits brighter colors. It islikewise said that the border of the genuineIndia shawl is invariably woven in small pieces,which are afterwards sewn together, as thewhole border is subsequently sewn on thecentre.
