LeCraw, who had resigned asmayor of Atlanta, Ga., to serve overseasin the armed forces, was subsequently re-turned to Austria to sit as a representa-tive of the Allied forces in peace confer-ences, made a strong appeal for immediateaction by Christian Churches to combatcommunism both in Europe and the Orient.
