Spread Eagle Public House Croydon Surrey-1

The Spread was a former bank and opened 10 years ago amidst what was then a common trend for such places to be converted to licensed premises. Thankfully, it retained much of the bank's finely-crafted and architectural interior, and with a classy and sensitive refurb, it immediately established itself as a house of quality and repute, being eschewed by the numerous yobs for not being corporate and themed, but embraced by the more discerning customers for having a well-kept full range of Fuller's ales, very good food (if a little pricey) and a lively conviviality and spaceousness which renders it very conducive to meetings of larger groups.
