Can be had In flower at Christmas, and continue in succession until June. When potted should not be placed in a dark place, like most other bulbs, but put directly In the light. They will grow well and bloom freely in an ordinary living room if placed near a window and not kept too hot. They will stand a slight freezing without Injury, but are not hardy for outdoor use.
