The Common Zebra sub-species found throughout the Southern Cirucit of Tanzania is the Crawshay's Zebra. They are quite distinctive with clean patterns.


The Common Zebra sub-species found throughout the Southern Cirucit of Tanzania is the Crawshay's Zebra. They are quite distinctive with very clean, bold stripe patterns and usually void of any shadow stripe. The reclassifictaion of the many sub-sprecies has lead to revision of many of these sub-species of wide equid ranges.
