Hypodcva harbata, Holl. Psyche, vii. p. 27, pi. 1. f. 2 (1894). Head and thorax dark brown mixed with red-brown and grey; pectus reddish ochreous ; abdomen grey suffused with fuscous brown, the crests reddish brown, the ventral surface white. Fore wing yellowish suffused with olive-green ; a broad purple band from discal fold to inner margin, diffused to base below the cell, before the antemedial white line which is represented by an oblique striga from costa and oblique sinuous line from discal fold to inner margin ; reniform a narrow bar, greyish defined by w^hite and with black point in upper part, a white patch above it on costa.
