J., one of the most successful growers of foreign grape vines and other fruits for forcing under glass, favors us with his experience in the following words: After twenty-five years' experience in planting foreign Grape Vines under glass for hot and cool graperies, I find the following -way the most successful: Secure healthy one-year-old vines, and early in April place them in boxes in a temperature of not less than forty-five degrees, placing the boxes well in the light not more than two feet from the glass.
