Face of the woman known as the Mona Lisa of the Galilee, a tile mosaic in the Dionysus House that has become the signature image for Zippori National Park in the Lower Galilee of Israel. The mosaics are believed to be 1700 years old. The park showcases the ruins of the ancient Roman/Byzantine era city of Zippori. Excavations have uncovered streets, public buildings, churches, synagogues, homes and beautiful mosaic tile murals. The park is open for self guided walking tours.
