60007 Sir Nigel Gresley was the 100th Gresley Pacific locomotive built by the Great Northern Railway. It was built in Doncaster, entering regular service in 1937 after being named in November of that year. The number 60007 was allocated when the London and North Eastern Railway was merged into British Rail.
