The whole of the south side and nearlyall the west end have disappeared. Even inits ruin it is a very beautiful fragment ofGothic architecture. As it is situated very close to the har-bour, its soft stone is much eaten awayby moisture brought by winds blowing offthe sea, and one wonders how muchlonger this frail structure will last. Itsconstruction is attributed to the latter half ofthe thirteenth century. 5t. Trancis.
