August 1994: Mary Lorson, songwriter, vocalist and guitarist with New York City-based alternative rock band Madder Rose, performs at Reading Festival in England. The band headlined the Melody Maker Stage on Saturday, August 27, 1994. Madder Rose stopped recording and touring in 1999 but reformed in 2015 and are still active.
