Mustard pot, ca. 1744–45, German, Meissen, Hard-paste porcelain, H. 8 in. ( cm.), Ceramics-Porcelain, This mustard pot comes from the so-called Anreevsky Service given by August III of Saxony, king of Poland (1734–1763), to Empress Elizabeth. The items of the service are decorated with the Russian imperial eagle and the badge of the Order of Saint Andrew, consisting of the figure of Saint Andrew crucified diagonally with Sanctus Andreus Patronus Russiae on the extremities of the cross
