Sari Goain River flows by the side of Lalakhal. There are many bends in that river. Along the banks of the river there are hill forests, tea gardens and various types of trees Lalakhal is located just below Cherrapunji in India. This river originates from the Cherrapunji Hills and flows through Bangladesh. Lalakhal water is blue. Mainly because of the sandy bottom of the river instead of the minerals and mud mixed with the flowing water coming from the Jaintia hills, the color of the water of this river looks like this. There are numerous bends in Lalakhal river. The traveler Ibn Battuta came to Bangladesh through this river. Although the word 'Khal' is attached to the name of the place, it is actually part of a river. The name of the river is Sari. Because, the water coming down from Cherrapunji hill is rolling through Lalakhal. It is not known why Lalakhal is called Lalakhal.
